Hi . My Harley stock pipes have various crap burnt onto them ( shoe rubber etc ) and nothing works?
I%26#039;ve tried %26quot;blue job %26quot; , acetone , oven cleaner , brake cleaner and scraping with the edge of an olfa blade with no luck - any suggestions ? Thanks .

We had he same problem with our 74 Sportster and nothing worked either. We just replaced the pipes, with stock pipes. It helps to have friends in the business.

He picked up his girlfriend to go to a rally %26amp; she was wearing rubber sole shoes with about a 3-4 inch thick rubber heel. she unknowingly put her heel on the 2%26quot; drag pipes %26amp; burnt a hole in them to the bottom of the shoe. After we scraped the larger pieces of rubber off we warmed up the pipes, let them cool a little, sprayed a adhesive removing solvent on the patch of rubber %26amp; used fine fine steel wool to remove it. turned out great. Just wear gloves %26amp; use the steelwool carefully to avoid scratching the chrome

But it will come off.
Reply:use 000, or 0000 steel wool and wd-40. polishing compound will work with the steel wool too. this will also take a lot of little scratches out at the same time.
Reply:A Dremel Tool will polish it off using fine polish. Or paint them with high heat black.
Reply:Paint Remover will dissolve most any of that crap, but by now ( using a blade edge) your pipes are probably scratched.
The %26quot;sure fire%26quot; way to get chrome pipes clean is as follows:
Put paint remover on the ( tar, rubber , plastic etc.) let it sit a while.
Using a thumbnail or the edge of a credit card scrape off as much as you can .
Repeat that process as many times as is needed to get off the %26quot;crap%26quot;
Then depending on how much is left ,using chrome polish or Blue Job , Rub, Rub, Rub until that last is off.
It can take hours, it%26#039;s a matter of how bad you want the stuff off.

Can I ware stockings under my wedding dress with opened toe shoes?
I am getting married in 9 weeks and I have brought the most stunning pair of opened toe shoes. I have also brought sexy lace stay up stocking, garter and g-sring that all match and would look hot for the wedding night. Can I ware them now on the day with the shoes that I have or should I just wait untill me and my soon to be husband go to our hotel to dress sexy.

As for wearing stockings with open-toe shoes... as long as there isn%26#039;t a seam and/or reinforced toe or whatev.

Instead, get a French manicure done on your toes or paint them a nice color - much more appealing!

The lace up stocking and everything might get uncomfortable all day though, keep that in mind.
P.S. Give your husband to be the heads-up that you don%26#039;t want him tossing your special garter, buy a cheap one to throw during the reception (if you%26#039;re doing that) and make sure he gets the right one!

Make sure they are transparent stockings with a nice shine to them. Also, the more expensive ones will last longer and have less chance of %26#039;running%26#039;. Try and go for sheer toe/sandal foot stockings because you can get away with open toe shoes that way!

But here%26#039;s the catch: shoe makers force stores to order shoes by bulk sets: meaning, a %26quot;set%26quot; (or shipment box) will have two pairs of size 5 and 10 shoes, three pairs of sizes 6 and 9s, and four pairs of sizes 7 and 8, for a total of 18 pairs of shoes.
The really big shoes for you or me are almost ALWAYS offered in a different set (sizes 10, 11, 12 and 13 for women and 12-17 for men), so that if a store wants to stock a few 11 womens, they have to order all the 12s and 13s too... So most stores simply won%26#039;t order them because they don%26#039;t want to lose the money or the space.
That%26#039;s the reason so many stores don%26#039;t carry big shoes, and it also explains why some stores will carry a big size %26#039;sometimes%26#039;...
